A networking meeting was held at BRAG this evening. Bundaberg Regional Art Gallery (BRAG)'s Trudie Liego ...on behalf of the gallery, reached out to local artists to discuss matters of concern .
This was an important initiative by the Gallery and could augur in a new era in the arts for Bundaberg....if that is what the artists want. So much depends on the artists now. Ultimately we will reap what we sow!
Sadly, the 'Fledglings' exhibition was taken down today. It has been a whirlwind few days culminating in a truly exciting event. I hope the Yr10 art students will treasure this experience. I know that art teachers, Petrina McDonald and Megan McFarlane most certainly will.
